We have modified a dosing hopper. We don’t just design and manufacture new equipment; sometimes, we also receive components that require upgrades to perform their functions even more effectively. This was the case with a 0.4 m³ hopper used for dosing roasted peanuts.
Our work included:
✅ modifying the top head to accommodate the installation of feed pipes
✅ installing weighing systems for more precise control of product weight
✅ reconstructing the discharge outlet to integrate with a screw conveyor
✅ enhancing operational safety by adding a safety switch with an interlock on the access hatch

Wondering about the unusual shape of the pipes attached to the hopper? It’s a result of the geometry of the entire processing system. These distinctively bent pipes are used to feed the product into the hopper and were custom-fitted to the existing installation. It was an interesting, albeit quite time-consuming, project.
